October 3 - 4, 2008
Join in the fun! The Loop's annual visual and performing arts festival will take place
on October 3 to 4, 2008 on the sidewalks and in the streets along Delmar.
The event will kick off on Friday, October 3 from 6 to 9 p.m. with an
Art Walk featuring exhibitions at more than 20 locations throughout the Loop. There
will be dance and musical performances at two venues - one located at the Regional Arts Commission and another venue to be determined.
On Saturday, October 4 festivities start at Noon. Enjoy dance performances and live music on the festival's two stages, while
art exhibits and demonstrations, performance art, sidewalk sales and eclectic goings-on will be throughout The Loop.
Larry Ash, the Festival's Performance Director, is working with the University
City Loop Community Foundation members to produce this year's performances.
A wonderful selection of local dance groups and choreographers will perform on
this year’s Main Stage located on Leland, south of Delmar, between Vintage Vinyl and Commerce Bank.
More live performances will take place on our second stage.
Parking is available on municipal lots, in the garage across from the Tivoli Theatre,
and on Delmar and the side streets. Loop in Motion will take place in The Loop along Delmar Boulevard
in University City and the City of St. Louis.
